Principal investigator
A graduate of McGill Medical School, Simon Wing completed residencies in internal medicine and endocrinology/metabolism. He subsequently undertook postdoctoral training with Alfred Goldberg at Harvard Medical School and with Denis Banville and David Thomas at the National Research Council Canada. He then established his lab in the Polypeptide Group in the Dept of Medicine at McGill University. He is now Professor of Medicine there and also Leader of the Metabolic Disorders and Complications Program at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre.

My name is Nathalie but most people call me Nath. I'm a true Montrealer and I've been working in this lab since 1993. I have experience in many different techniques including extensive in vivo mouse studies. I like working as a team and can be a colleague, a friend and a guide for people in the lab.

Lab technician
Marie received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR). She then worked at the Department of Occupational Health and Safety as an electron microscopy technician. Marie has joined the Wing lab 16 years ago as an animal laboratory technician.
hung-hsiang ho
PhD student
Coming from Taiwan, Hung-Hsiang obtained his Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from National Taiwan University in 2018. He has worked as a junior scientist in the Lab of Biomolecular and Cellular Imaging at Academia Sinica. He has worked on selective autophagy and is interested in using imaging approaches to study cellular dynamic processes. Hung-Hsiang joined the Wing lab in Fall 2020 as an IPN Master’s student to investigate the cellular mechanisms of USP19 in Parkinson's disease.
